Where the River Foss Joins the Ouse. The fourth arch at the bottom represents the old Fossgate Bridge from upstream. The white in the river may be wind driven waves or gravel showing. If it is gravel then it would be consistent with other confluences I have seen where gravel from a side river blocks the main stream which then backs up. Same as where the Skell meets the River Ure in Ripon.
